Going Natural: Deodorant

So lately I have been trying to go more natural with all my products - hair, skin, deodorant, etc.   At the barre studio I frequent, a lot of the girls there have been talking about going all-natural with their deodorant.

I guess the antiperspirant or something is like pretty bad for you…I mean why is it that the best things in life are the ones that are the worst for you (chick-fila, chocolate chip cookies, etc.) .  Well given that I want to try to not get cancer/you know just be healthy I've been giving the all natural deodorant a thought.

I obviously started researching all-natural deodorants and couldn't believe all the different varieties out there!  I think next time I'm at whole foods I'll be adding Dr. Hauschka Rose Deodorant to my shopping cart.

  1. I haven't used deodorant in years and I sweat by the THAI stick. It's a crystal and it's amazing...Try it out and see what you think. It lasts about a year and Whole Foods does carry it but make sure you get the crystal. They have a spray but it doesn't work ;)

  2. Oh I've been wanting to try the Soap Walla deodorant for a while. The stuff found in normal deodorant is pretty scary!

It's the aluminum in it! I stopped using it last year and it takes a little while for your body to adjust but once it does, you are golden!!! Dr. Hauschka Rose Deodorant used to be my jam, but I have sorta gone back to the hard stuff now that I am preggers....hormones will do it to you!

  4. It's not only about aluminum but also the testing on animals. This is why I only buy cruelty free deodorants.
