What I'm Reading

Chanel Bonfire // The Paris Wife // Orphan Train

So for lent I decided to give up watching tv before bed and have been trying to read more instead, which has been causing me to read lots of amazing books.  While not all of these are new releases they have all been on my list forever and being the library nerd that I am, I tend to have to wait a little to get all the new books.

Chanel Bonfire - if you are into socialites, Chanel and just plain craziness, this book is for you.  It's about an NYC socialite, Georgann Rea's and it's written by her daughter....definitely makes you realize that truth is stranger than fiction.

The Paris Wife - if you are an Ernest Hemingway or Paris fan you need to read this.  It's about Hemingway's first marriage to Hadley and his Paris years, when Paris was truly the center of the art world.

Orphan Train - if you like historical fiction and great depression era this book is just amazing.  I had never heard of the Orphan Train in America before and could not put this book down - literally read it in one sitting.
