The Fizz: Karma

A week or so ago I was out with some girl friends dancing, I mean is there anything else better to do on a Saturday night?   Anyways, we were all having a blast celebrating one of our best friends upcoming nuptials when I went to pull out my phone (yes, I was that girl) only to find it was missing.  I asked my friend to help me look for my phone and she noticed hers was missing as well - needless to say we were both not happy.

We quickly figured out that our phones were taken from our purses, as a minute before we noticed they were missing we were bombarded by a group of guys trying to distract us.  Once we realized there was nothing we could do (after interrogating half of the bar) we threw in the towel and got a taxi back home.

While having to deal with getting a new phone is never fun, I kind of feel worse for the people who took our phones, and 4 others that same night.  How lost must they be in life to need to steal strangers' cell phones or how desperately do they need a couple hundred bucks - if they can get event that?  I also don't doubt that they will get what is coming to them one way or another. I feel like life gives back to you with what you put into it - and they might not have gotten caught that night but they will get caught one way or another.

Call it wishful thinking, but I think that everyone gets what they deserve in the end - both good and bad, so do unto others as you would have done to yourself...because karma is a b**ch.

  1. I'm so sorry this happened to you and your friend! That's horrible! Karma does come back around and it will! I really like your blog though! I'm glad that I found it! It would be nice if you could stop by both of my blogs sometime too (I'm from England) and I post my outfits and personal style on Raindrops of Sapphire and general fashion from celebs and brands on The Fashion Supernova! I hope you have a lovely day and I'm looking forward to your next post :) :)

  2. Im so sorry about your phones and I can't imagine the feeling when you realized it was really stolen. People who steal are the worst and it's such an evil thing to do and you're so right, Karma will happen. I know it's lame, but the next phone you get you and your friend (or someone you're really close to) should install that 'Find My Friends' app. In case you lose it or someone steals it, you can see where it's located. You're so right though, there is no way they could get much $$ for those so they must be in a really bad place in life.
