Signature Scent

"A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future." Coco Chanel

Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted a signature scent - I want my loved ones to smell something and be reminded of me - do you know what I mean?   Even with this "goal" of mine I always have a hard time finding the right perfume.  I don't love overly floral notes, nor do I like a strong musky scent - sorry but I'm not a grandma.

For awhile I was addicted to all Escada perfumes, I just loved them - even though their names started to embarrass me the older I got - rockin' rio doesn't exactly roll off the tongue when your coworker asks what you are wearing.  Sadly they discontinued this perfume though, so I had to switch up my signature scent.  I feel like looking for a perfume in a store can be very overwhelming and eventually they all start to smell the same - there is only so much coffee beans you can smell.  So I have come up with a list of all my favorites that I have tried or want to try based on their reviews.

Currently I have been obsessed with See By Chloe's perfume, it's feminine and youthful with a dash of floral mixed in - it's quite perfect if you ask me… Michael Kors Very Hollywood  is a close second in my book though.  Also, Joie killed it with their first scent, Folle de Joie - yes I know, I just recently learned that Joie had a perfume too.

Do you have a signature scent or do you switch up your perfumes?  Which one (s) are your favorites?

  1. I'd say I switch up my perfumes every now and then, but I always tend to go for deep, warm scents. Gucci Guilty is my all-time favorite and I'm not sure I'll ever find anything to top it. Recently, I've fallen in love with Lancome's La Vie Est Belle. Fantastic notes of vanilla and fruit.

  3. I've been wearing Coco Chanel Mademoiselle for years now. I occasionally switch it up, but it's definitely my signature scent!

  4. I have two signature scents, Miss Dior and Hugo Boss Deep Red (which they don't make anymore but you can still get on eBay haha! That's how much I love it) some times I want to try something new but nothing ever compares to those two for me! Happy Tuesday!

  5. I have this same problem! I can't stick to one perfume, so I don't feel like I have a signature scent. I guess I pick a scent based on the season or I just use my current favorite scent! :)

  11. I just posted last week about my favorite scents for spring/summer! My year-round go-to scent is the Michael Kors signature scent, but I also love Very Hollywood. And the new Tory Burch perfume that Kylie mentioned above is pretty phenomenal!

  12. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am now also in the process of finding the perfect perfume but it is hard because there are so many and my fiance is so fussy with perfume scents. I need to find the Joie perfume. It sounds perfect!

  18. Since I'm still in school, I'm always afraid I'm "overdressing" by wearing perfume. But I sometimes switch up between Vera Wang and Chanel No.5.

  23. OMG I'm the same way. I'm DYING for signature scent. I'm currently pursuing a Kenzo perfume but cannot decide if it's THE one. Who knew these choices would be so tough?!! ;)
