Ole Henriksen Truth Creme // StriVectin-EV Get Even Brightening Serum // Fresh Sugar Lip Polish // Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic // Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish // Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer // Origins GinZing Eye Cream
Is it just me or does everything seem to run out at the exact same time, namely with skincare and makeup. Well, this just happened to me a month or so ago and I decided it was the perfect time to switch up my skincare regime.
I had previously used all Mario Badescu products and was happy with them but just looking for a change. I got the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish in my Birchbox and was obsessed after using up the entire sample. I liked this so much (although, it kind of takes forever to use) that I decided to go ahead and get the toner - this toner is very hydrating, which in my experience is pretty rare.
After I use the face wash and toner I apply my StriVectin-EV Get Even Brightening Serum - you guys I have only had this for about 3 weeks and am already hooked. My skin looks so much brighter and my dark spots and acne scars (yea, not a look I want) are already starting to disappear - this is a must have product in my book.
Once I am done with all that (I know, skincare is quite a process) I apply Ole Henriksen Truth Creme at night - this stuff is amazing - it's moisturizing but not oily plus it's formulated without parabens and sulfates and best of all it's affordable too! For the day time, I tend to skip the face wash and just use the toner, serum, and Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer - I have used this day lotion for 4 years and have no plans on turning back. It's the perfect day lotion - moisturizing but very light and with the necessary SPF.
To finish off the entire process I use Origins GinZing Eye Cream for both day and night - I recently got called out for all of the fine lines around my eyes and knew that I needed to switch up my eye cream asap. On my friends recommendation, I decided on this eye cream because it has got rave reviews and has caffeine in it (which, apparently your eye cream should have, I never never this...opps)
That wraps on my skincare regime for the most part, I do use Fresh Sugar Lip Polish 2-3 times a week to exfoliate my lips though and this is kind of crucial in the winter for me, since I have severely chapped lips! While I know this process can be very annoying and cumbersome, I think it is worth it and plus having good skin saves me money on makeup, right?
